Private Yin Yoga

In this joint and fascia focused practice you are guided into postures in a way that supports the relaxation of muscles and places a gentle stimulus on the ligament tissues.

Holding each pose for 3-5 minutes generates a therapeutic response within the ligament and joint structure.

These sessions are customized holistically to tend to joint pain or psychical patterns that arise from the habits of modern life, practices that help regulate the nervous system and development of a mindful perspective to supports stress reduction. 

Yin is accessible to most anyone from those brand new to yoga to those with extensive yoga experience.

Yoga for Self-Mastery is an Integrative Approach to Yoga Instruction

Each sessions includes instruction in:

Pranayama - breath work to self-regulate the nervous system to support your ability to respond rather than react to your life circumstances.

Asana  - physical postures to improve flexibility, strength and physical alignment.

Dharana - attentive concentration to support mastery of the mind and a mindful approach to life.


My Approach

Yoga is an ancient system of self-inquiry, self-mastery and realization.

My instruction combines years of practice and experience with the Eight Limbs of Yoga as well as Advanced Teacher training in Yoga Psychology, which bridges the Yogic method and corresponding aspects of the Western Psychological model and Yin yoga.

Blending ancient and modern wisdom and practices, I provide private and group instruction that charts a holistic course to for wellness and personal evolution.
